What are Screencasts?
Screencasts are videos that show a software application in action. View some examples.
Screencasts are usually embedded into your website. Your site's visitor can play the video to learn why your application will solve their problem. They see a smooth demo backed by a confident and trustworthy voice.
Screencasts will play on your visitor's computer without any extra software - we use Flash Video (as used by YouTube, BBC, CNN).
Why do I need one?
"If a company has gone to the trouble of designing a software program, but hasn't taken the trouble
to create a screencast about the program, then they are apt to lose me as a customer. Seeing is
believing."
Phil Shapiro
Users are more likely to try your application if they've already seen it in action, solving their problem. The demonstration increases the viewer's confidence which leads to more trials.
